There is no truce with Zika. Only in the first week of 2017 were 14 new cases of the virus confirmed in the country.

While last year 317 cases of chikungunya were reported, 2017 is starting with 13 cases. In the case of dengue, 2016 reported 924 cases in its first week and this year only 106 cases have been confirmed.
