The Drug Control Police seized 1517 kilos of cocaine in Caldera’s docks.
According to the Ministry of Security, they found the drugs when checking a ship “Cap Pallizer”.
The cocaine was located in the container number APRU 5833963, hidden under boxes of the products they were carrying.
In total, 31 packages were counted with cocaine, whose route was Colombia-Costa Rica-El Salvador-United States.
The police believe that this cargo was going to a second laboratory for conversion to cocaine hydrochloride, possibly in Central America, since there were also 573 kilos of cocaine base paste.
