1,500 people without power in San José

A trolley caused the cables to fall from the power lines and left houses in the southern part of the capital without power. The event occurred 200 meters north of the Centro Comercial del Sur, at 1:15 on Tuesday afternoon.

According to Luis Fernando Andrés Jácome, director of the Energy Distribution Directorate of Compañía Nacional de Fuerza y Luz (CNFL), the company’s crews are working so that the electric service can be restored as soon as possible.
