Immigration has announced that it will keep the border check point with Nicaragua at Peñas Blancas open for 24 hours on December 22nd and 23rd. Police take down band accused of robbing cell phone stores
In a series of raids, police arrested three men and a women who they suspect of being members of a gang that stole more the ¢260 million ($528,455) in merchandise from cell phone stores. The stores that suffered losses were located in Curridabat.
