More than 50 people who were affected by the fire in Tibás on November 26th, saw a light of hope on December 2nd, when they were relocated. They managed to leave the shelter.
Tibás’ Mayor Carlos Cascante informed that 15 families received a check so that they can pay the rent of a house for three months. They can also buy some objects classified as immediate needs.
Authorities are working in various shelters to guarantee a home for the victims.
Cascante added that the goal is that the families can be relocated in other sectors during the week.
The fire took the lives of 6 people. It is allegedly related to a case of domestic violence.
