Six Canadian companies will be in Costa Rica to provide technological solutions and Information Technologies (ICT). The trade mission will take place on November 3rd and on November 4th.
That mission is organized by the Canadian Embassy and held at the Wyndham Garden Hotel in Escazú. The goal is to inform Costa Rican companies about the attractiveness of the Costa Rican market.
Due to the Free Trade Agreement that Canada and Costa Rica have had for the last 14 years, along with the opening in the technology sector and Costa Rica’s fast advance in telecommunications, Costa Rican market is attractive for Canadian companies,
declared Eve Giguère, commercial counselor from the Embassy of Canada.
ICT Canada is known for its increasing progress regarding innovation and productivity that is generated in the hardware, software, component, content and service industry.
Trade between both countries reached 666 billion Canadian dollars in 2015. Merchandise exports reached 163 million dollars in 2014 and imports from Costa Rica were 503 million dollars.
