On Monday, a 7 year-old boy from San Francisco de Tinoco de Osa, in the South, died after shooting himself in the chest.
The child was taken to the local clinic, but unfortunately he didn’t survive.
The Costa Rican Red Crossa assited the child. They also confirmed the information, however, the details of how this tragedy happened are unknown.
Apparently, the child was handling the shotgun with another child at the time of the accident. The case is under investigation.
