President Solís spoke French during his thank-you speech foe the business relationship that started with Air France.
The French airline made its first flight to Costa Rica, which will take place twice a week from now on and until March, 2017.
Although most of his speech was in Spanish, the president suddenly started to express his appreciation to the airline in the French
language.
He referred to trade relations between both countries, highlighting the ideals of peace and harmony that characterize them.
With the arrival of Air France, a significant increase in tourists from that country and the rest of Europe is expected. Last year, more than 50,000 French people visited Costa Rica.
