During the collection campaigns carried out by the Costa Rican Red Cross in different parts of the country in order to help families affected by Hurricane Otto, some people took expired pasta and canned products in the canton of Mora.
The products were identified during the process of control and revision that the committee conducted.
Due to this situation, the managers were annoyed because of the risk that an expired product can generate. Authorities asked the population to verify the expiration date on each of the products to be donated.
