A 10-year-old girl who was bitten by a snake and a 9-month-old baby with a burnt limb were taken to medical centers by the authorities of the Directorate of Air Surveillance Service (SVA) from the Ministry of Public Security.
The SVA moved these two native minors in the police helicopter, which delved into the towns of Talamanca in Limón for ambulance flights.
The first case was a 10-year-old girl who lives in Sitio Hilda in Talamanca de Limón. She was bitten in the elbow of the left arm by a snake, so she was taken to the Turrialba Hospital in Cartago.
The second case was a nine-month-old baby who suffered third-degree burns on his left hand and arm. He was taken to Limón Hospital and later to the National Children’s Hospital.
