A luxurious yacht designed by Steve Jobs, Apple’s co-founder, sailed around Costa Rica, according to the residents of the Gulf of Papagayo and Culebra Bay, who have been astonished by the presence of the yacht valued at $120 million.
It’s a mansion on the water. It does not look like a yacht,”
commented Rolbin Garcia, a diving instructor for the company Altamar who photographed the ship belonging to Laurene Powell Jobs, widow of the Apple guru who also designed the iPad, iPhone and iPod.
According to García, this is the third time that the ship passes through national waters and always causes astonishment among Costa Ricans. On Friday, García carried the camera with which he managed to capture the majesty of the boat.
Jobs never knew the yacht since he died a year before it was ready. The ship was co-designed by Philippe Starck’s and it was introduced in October 2012.
