Due to the weakening of tropical storm Irma, the National Emergency Commission (CNE) suspended the yellow and green alerts that were maintained in different regions of the country.
According to the latest report by the National Meteorological Institute (IMN), the hurricane was degraded to a tropical storm and is located 240 kilometers per hour from Atlanta, Georgia, with maximum sustained winds of 85 kilometers per hour and moves north-northwest at 28 kilometers per hour.
The CNE suspended the yellow alert status in the Pacific and the green alert in Huetar Caribe, Central Valley and the North Zone.
