In Crucitas de Cutris, San Carlos, the authorities managed to find 48 Nicaraguans with irregular migratory status, in addition to one injured and another deceased man.
Foreigners were placed in the hands of the General Directorate of Immigration and Immigration for their immediate return to Nicaraguan territory.
The actions have been carried out by officers of the Border Police, the Operational Support Group of the Public Force, the Traffic Police and Migration, who have inspected the Vivoyet farm and nearby properties.
The deceased man was Borges López, a Nicaraguan national that apparently died crushed by an embankment.
The border police cordoned off the scene awaiting for judicial authorities and, the personnel of the Border Police. With first aid equipment and their training, they immobilized the wounded man and took him out of the place.
Similarly, the authorities found two Costa Ricans, Mora and Coto, at the time they illegally extracted gold from the Vivoyet farm, for which they were apprehended to be placed under the order of the Office of the Flagrancia de San Carlos.
