The transit of a high pressure system over the southern United States to the Atlantic Ocean will maintain high values in atmospheric pressure over the Central American region, favoring moderate to strong trade winds in the national territory.
According to the National Meteorological Institute (IMN), this situation will lead to humidity and cloudiness in the province of Limón and the North Zone causing precipitation. It is expected that part of the cloud cover may extend to the mountains of the Central Valley and generate drizzles.
In the Pacific mornings with few clouds are expected, followed by afternoons with partial cloudiness and some showers in the central and southern area.
