Fusion flavors, international dishes, vegan proposals and adaptations of Costa Rican food were just some examples of the gastronomic offer in Barrio Escalante this Sunday.
The restaurateurs of the area took to the streets and adapted public tables for residents and foreigners to enjoy the best dishes of this gastronomic center in the east of the city.
The activity was aimed at young adults, but there were options for children as well. The prices of the dishes started at ₡ 2 thousand, in the awnings and food trucks installed in the area, however, the menu is also available in the fixed premises of the restaurants.
Some of the participants are Olio, Agüizotes, Il Volpino, Gambas, Ravi, Saúl Bistró and Costa Rica Beer Factory, among others.
The gastronomic fair was inaugurated by the mayor of San José, Johnny Araya, who said that this type of activities are an example of the process of revitalization of urban spaces in the city.
