On Tuesday, the legislators approved in the Reform of the Law of Creation of the 9-1-1 Emergency System to improve financing during the first reading.
The Government and Administration Commission of the Legislative Assembly had affirmatively approved a bill that seeks to provide more resources to the 9-1-1 Emergency System.
According to the proposal, the system will be financed with a rate of 1% on the monthly invoicing of the total revenues for telecommunications services available to the public.
It includes the services of mobile telephony, traditional telephony, VoIP telephony, fixed and mobile Internet, as well as the development and improvement of communications with the institutions attached to the system.
