The Costa Rican Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers (AyA) announced the interruption of the drinking water service in the cantons of San José and Tibás on November 7th, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
The suspension will take place because of the last re-pumping in La Uruca due to works of the CNFL and installation of a main valve.
This will affect around 155 thousand users. The service will resume as the pipes and storage tanks are filled.
Appropriate preventive measures are recommended, taking into account it’s important to properly and responsibly use the precious liquid, only for basic needs.
