Woman smuggled and exploited young foreigners in Puntarenas

The Criminal Court of Puntarenas sentenced a woman named Valdez to three months of preventive arrest for the crimes of human trafficking and smuggling of migrants.

Valdez was arrested on December 21st in the streets of San Ramón de Alajuela.

Apparently, the accused illegally brought young foreigners who apparently were victims of sexual exploitation in a bar located in the sector of Esparza, Puntarenas.
