The Costa Rican Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers (AyA) reported an interruption of the potable water service on Thursday, January 17th from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm, to clean Cacique and Borbón tanks.
More than 87 thousand residents of San Antonio, Barrio de San José, and Alajuela will be affected. Specifically in El Coco, Campamento Bautista, Rincón Herrera, San Antonio, Roble, Ciruelas, Monserrat, Villa Bonita, Montecillos, Jocote, Plywood, Coyol, Barrio de San José.
The AyA highlights that the aforementioned schedules have to do with the closure and opening of the systems. Users will receive the water service as the pipes and storage tanks are filled.
In the higher sectors it will take a little longer to arrive.
