Nicaraguan company will start operations in Costa Rica

The Nicaraguan company El Chele, a travel and vehicle rental agency will expand its operations to Costa Rica.

The company will be located near the Juan Santamaría International Airport in Alajuela and would have 15 employees and a vehicle fleet of 120 units.

This is the first time we leave Nicaragua and we selected Costa Rica as the country with the highest tourist development in the region. We are very proud to open operations in this country and we appreciate the opportunity,”

said Juan Carlos Zúñiga, Strategic Director of El Chele.

This company has 30 years of experience in the automotive and tourism industry in Nicaragua.

The opening of an EC Rent a Car in Panama is also expected by 2020. According to Zúñiga, they also want to open branches in Honduras, El Salvador or even the United States in the distant future.

Some of the future projections of the company is to open offices in Guanacaste and Liberia in June this year. They will also sell used cars, in conjunction with Grupo Q.
