On Monday, an earthquake of preliminary magnitude 5.7 was registered with an epicenter in Ometepec, Guerrero, Mexico, according to the National Seismological Network.
The movement happened at 3:15 pm, 65 kilometers southwest of Ometepec. The earthquake was also perceived in Mexico City, despite the fact that seismic warning was not activated.
Claudia Sheinbaum, head of the Government of Mexico City, informed that after the seismic movement, the revision protocols for Civil Protection were activated.
