First, there was a slight movement that preceded a stronger earthquake, reported as felt at 5:23 am on Wednesday.
According to information from the National Seismological Network, the tremor had a 5.7 intensity and its epicenter was 22 kilometers west of Savegre, in Quepos.
The tremor was perceived in practically all the Central Valley and the South Zone of the country. On Tuesday, after 11:00 pm, the Ticos felt another quake of significant magnitude. The epicenter was in Cahuita, Limón, and the intensity was 5.5 degrees.
