Neo-Nazi wanted by the US hid in Jacó

October 24, 2019 by Staff News Writer

Matthew “Cyco” Hall was wanted since June by the US authorities. He had charges for planning murders for white supremacist gangs.

He chose Costa Rica as a destination to hide and was arrested in Jacó. Last September 28th, he was found dead at the Immigration Apprehension Center.

The East Bay Times, in California, USA, released the story of the 48-year-old man who proclaimed himself as “the white power” in a video.

Hall was charged in an organized crime case linked to a gang known as the Aryan Brotherhood. In addition, he was linked as a member of a gang known as Public Enemy No.1 (PENI).

He was accused along with 12 people and apparently the strongest evidence against him were conversations with one of the Brotherhood leaders. It is believed that the leader serving a life sentence asked him to sell heroin and discussed plans for at least two homicides.

In 2016, he was linked to a deadly assault, but he was declared innocent. When they raided his home, they found six weapons, Nazi propaganda, videos about Hitler and a jacket with Nazi symbols with the nickname “Cyco”.

According to the newspaper, in his videos, Hall would often say

I am the white power. Skinhead, neo-Nazi, National Socialist. Do you (expletives) want to give me 38 to life for nothing? I’ll take it with you, and you better come deep (expletive) and tell the rookies to stay behind. I am going to cut your cars in half with AK-47 and I am going to sabotage you (expletives),”

In the United States, prosecutors announced that the man died of suffocation, so it is believed that he took his life in the cell located in Heredia.
