The Drug Control Police (PCD) intercepted a boat with a Costa Rican flag in the Central Pacific, and found a shipment of cocaine in it.
The police arrested 3 Costa Ricans, who carried 212 kilos of cocaine hidden in sacks among the coolers loaded with sharks.
The boat was intercepted 130 kilometers from the coast by patrolling coastguards. The suspects have no previous criminal records.
According to the security forces, the same vessel was used last year in Guanacaste for illegal fishing.
