On October 22nd, 525 students from across the country will participate in the third edition of the Reading Comprehension National Olympiad. The activity will be held at Humboldt school and it will start at 7 am.
Hundreds of students will compete after a preselection, which was attended by about 14,000 students from all over Costa Rica.
Now, the finalists from 79 private schools and 6 public institutions will test their skills on reading comprehension and creative thinking in order to reach the next stage, in which only 27 competitor will be selected.
Then, members of the jury will choose 3 finalists that will represent Costa Rica at the Reading Comprehension international Olympiads in 2017.
These students are attending from fourth grade up to eleventh grade.
The organizer of the international event have headquarters in Spain, Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Argentina, Ecuador, Paraguay and Chile.
