Due to the long weekend for the Cultures Day celebration, on October 17th, the reversible lane will be applied on Route 27, heading to San José. It will take place from 1:00 pm to 7:00 from Pozón to Ciudad Colón. As consequence, during that time period, all vehicles will go to San José.
The reversible lane will be effectively applied in that schedule, but it means that traffic between the Pacific area and Ciudad Colón will be suspended an hour before and it will be restored an hour later, so that all lanes will head to San José from 1 pm to 7 pm.
Similarly, the reversible lane will not be allowed at 7:00 pm from Pozón: at 8 pm, transit to the Pacific will be released.
As decided by The National Concessions Council, the maximum speed will be 60 kilometers per hour.
To know the status of the route or request assistance from the Council, users can call the Control Center at 2588-4040. They may also contact the Traffic Division at 2523-3300 extensions from 1021 to 1029.
