Officers from the National Guard, captured a boat that carried 20 kilos of cocaine, abundant gasoline and a lot of food in Costa Rican waters.
The ship was intercepted last Wednesday 30 nautical miles away from Limón, during a preventive patrol. The officers were very suspicious about the ship because it had a lot of fuel and food, as if it were a long trip.
For this reason, the boat was examined by staff of the Drug Control Police and the Prosecution. The entities found a box containing 20 kilos of cocaine.
2 Costa Rican surnamed Zúñiga and Díaz, and a Nicaraguan surnamed Pérez were arrested.
