Almost 100 percent of damaged electrical service was restored

On Wednesday, 99.9% of services affected by Tropical Storm Nate were restored.

Of the 36,000 services affected in the CNFL served area, only 50 clients (about 200 people) are yet to get power back in Barrio San José de la Montaña, in Poás de Aserrí.

In this community we are waiting for the municipality to remove an embankment that prevents access. As soon as we can enter, which we hope will be in the next few days, we will be replacing the four posts and connecting these customers to the network. It is the last thing we have as a direct impact of Tropical Storm Nate,”

explains the Director of Distribution of the CNFL, Luis Fernando Andrés.

From this Wednesday, the crews return to their routine work of preventive maintenance and improvement to the network.
