President Carlos Alvarado supports the loan negotiated with the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (BCIE) for $31 million for the remodeling of the National Theater.
In the midst of the struggle with the opposition for the convenience of this indebtedness, the president raised the need to protect the heritage. He feels it is better to approve the loan than let this property deteriorate more.
