Alvarado will participate in the Paris Forum for Peace

On the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I, President Carlos Alvarado will participate in the Paris Forum for Peace, invited by the President of France, Emmanuel Macron.

The president will participate as part of a group that advocates for information and democracy, along with the presidents of France, Canada, Senegal, Tunisia and Norway.

The Costa Rican officials will also be at the Pasteur Institute and will meet with academics and businessmen.

Alvarado is accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Trade, Dyalá Jiménez, as well as the foreign policy director of the Foreign Ministry and the embassy teams in France and the mission to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
