An establishment will be closed for allegedly offering sex services

The Municipal Police investigated an establishment located on 9th avenue at the center of San José for the alleged offense of procuring.

During the police intervention, there were about 20 people in the area, including clients and sex workers. In addition, the owner of the business, a 50-year-old Costa Rican, was arrested.

The operation was carried out with the Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ) and it was the result of an investigation that lasted several months.

The establishment will be closed and the Prosecutor on Human Trafficking will be in charge of the case,

informed Marco Rodríguez, head of the Police Intelligence Office.
