On Tuesday, the National Association of Public and Private Employees (ANEP) announced that it filed an appeal against the Ministry of Finance and Minister Helio Fallas to make public the importers’ names who evade the Treasury.
The requested information is not state secret, on the contrary, there is an obvious affectation to the public treasury. There is an interest because this situation affects all inhabitants of Costa Rica,
declared Albino Vargas.
ANEP stated that the public is entitled to know such information, especially the working class, because workers timely pay their taxes.
