November 6, 2019 by Staff News Writer

If you want to help a boy or girl be happier this Christmas, the Sonrisas de Esperanzas Association looks for collaborators and donations for this year’s parties.

This non-profit organization organizes Christmas parties every year for children from poor communities or those at social risk. This year’s will be on December 14th and 15th in Cañas, Guanacaste and December 21st in Pejibaye de Cartago. The parties are for 400 children under 12 years old.

The Association requires volunteers, but also donations of toys (non-bellic), candies, apples, grapes, piñatas and other items necessary to celebrate children.

Similarly, they look for non-perishable food to deliver to the families of these children to spend a different new year’s eve.

Donations will be received until the weekend of December 8th, so if you are interested in collaborating with this cause you can call 8844-7773 or 8950-2831.

You can also write an email to the association nsonrisasdeesperanza@gmail.com or on their Facebook profile.
