Authorities discovered liquor cargo camouflaged among plantains

The authorities managed to confiscate contraband liquor camouflaged in a truck that transported plantains.

The Border Police and the Prosecutor seized liquor whose value could amount to 4.3 million colones. The discovery was made in Tuba Creek, Talamanca canton, Limón, and it apparently came from Panama.

In that place, the police intercepted a truck driven by a man named Barrantes. At first glance the only visible things were plantains. However, after an inspection the authorities discovered, 144 cans of guarana, 408 cans of beer and 857 bottles of various types of liquors on the floor of the truck.
