AyA will do sewer pipe work in San José

The Costa Rican Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers informed that it will rehabilitate several sections of the sanitary sewer network in San José.

Starting on Monday, the works were scheduled to begin on Calle 24, between avenues 2 and 4 (duration 3 weeks). Once the work in this section is completed, the closure will be made at Calle 24, between avenues 0 and 2 (duration 4 weeks).

The entity also reported that it coordinated with the General Directorate of Traffic Engineering in order to generate the least possible impact on traffic.

Similarly, with the development of these works, the wastewater collection service will be significantly improved and the frequency of obstructions that occur in the sanitary sewer network of these sectors will be reduced.

Businesses and pedestrians are urged to take appropriate measures.
