If your daily activities take you to Heredia often, be patient because the road works in three of the main routes of this province will last until November.
The works in the sections between Neón Nieto, Santo Domingo, and La Puebla, are part of the 28 points that the president ordered to intervene in his decree on May 8th to decongest vehicular traffic in several points of the metropolitan area.
This Thursday, the president of the Republic went with the Minister of Public Works (MOPT), Rodolfo Méndez, to inspect part of the work he ordered.
The works to expand these routes from two to four lanes started last Monday. The hierarchs asked the population to be patient and explained they relocated 11 electricity poles that are on the right side to facilitate transit.
