Beware! Route 3 is closed!

March 3, 2017 by Staff News Writer

Pay attention. Route 3, between Pozuelo and Jardines, is closed from March 2nd and it will be until March 4th.

This National Road Council (CONAVI) measure is because the Executing Unit will asphalt the lanes in San José-Heredia direction.

The passage will be closed from 10 at night and until 5 in the morning, so it is recommended to look for alternate routes. Those who travel to Heredia can use route 32, Tibás-Santo Domingo road and Santo Domingo-Barrial de Heredia road.

According to CONAVI, these works started on March 1st and that was the only day that they coincided with the closures on route 3 and route 1 (on the General Cañas highway).

It is expected that Yolanda Oreamuno bridge, with its 4 lanes, is enabled from March 9th.
