The President of the Republic, Carlos Alvarado, will meet next week with the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, as part of a presidential tour.
The Presidency specified that the meeting will be held on May 27th. According to the Minister of Communication, Nancy Marín, both leaders will address issues such as cooperation, dual education, employability projects, advice on migratory flows and support for the decarbonization plans of this administration.
Marín said that Alvarado’s tour of the old continent will only include Germany, specifically the cities of Berlin and Hamburg.
Alvarado will also go to the inauguration of the new president of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele, scheduled for June 1st.
