Dean of the University of Costa Rica (UCR), Henning Jensen, filed a recusal to the Costa Rican Social Security Fund (CCSS), so that the executive director of the Strategic Development and Information Center on Health and Social Security (CENDEISSS), doesn’t participate in the decision makings related to the rotating residency.
Jensen’s request was accepted by the Medical Management of the Fund.
Administrative Resolution GM-AJD-15824-2016 separates the person in charge of knowledge, processing and decision making of all matters related to university residency.
The dean of the UCR has expressed his concern about teachers being assigned randomly among students from different universities.
According to the institution, that decision disregards existing regulations that state that the UCR quotas must be respected in certain hospitals of the Fund.
