Central Pacific Region makes progress in inter-institutional process of commercial license

Within the framework of the Strategy for Simplification of Procedures and Regulatory Improvement, the regional axis was launched through the “Inter-institutional Procedure for Commercial License in the Central Pacific Region” project in the municipalities of Puntarenas, Orotina, San Mateo, Esparza, Parrita, Quepos, Montes de Oro, Monteverde and Paquera, making the formalization of companies happen in 33 to 10 business days.

Previously, the proceedings in different institutions to obtain the commercial license implied more than 20 requirements, while now, thanks to the initiative, they were reduced to 10 proceedings.

The project was made possible thanks to Alcanzando Escala Program, through its partners CRUSA Foundation, MIF and Weaving Development, the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Commerce (MEIC), Ministry of Health, Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAG) and the Institute of Promotion and Municipal Advice (IFAM).
