Foreign Minister Manuel González reiterated that the visit of a group of 13 legislators to Nicaragua was inconvenient.
González stated that the Nicaraguan press made fun of the national congressmen who went shopping in a market in Managua.
The Foreign Minister reiterated that he respects the independence of powers and the decisions of the Legislators, but he recalled that there are still pending diplomatic disputes between Costa Rica and Nicaragua, which are in process in The Hague.
The Chancellor added that, apparently, some demonstrations were taken out of context and that the Foreign Ministry is studying the joint statement between the national delegation and the members of Parliamentof from the neighboring country.
