Chancellor of foreign relations, Enrique Castillo has responded to a request by Nicaragua to withdraw an international arrest warrant against Eden Pastora by calling it, “bravado by Nicaragua because they are not accustomed to respect the law”. Castillo also disputed claims by Nicaragua that the arrest warrant violated the terms of an international court case before The Hauge, which requires both parties to avoid escalating the dispute.
