The former Portuguese Prime Minister, Antonio Guterres, remains at the top of the ratings as the favorite candidate to replace Ban Ki-moon in the General Secretariat of the United Nations (UN), after received again a strong support in the third secret ballot held by the Security Council.
Despite his comfortable lead, Guterres is not guaranteed to be the next General Secretary of the UN, because the selection not only depends on the candidate, but also on complex diplomatic balances.
Costa Rican Christiana Figueres and Moldavian Natalia Gherman were the ones with the lowest scores.
