The National Emergency Commission (CNE), continues to carry out assessments in the sector affected by the landslide Guido de Desamparados, for which the occupants of neighboring houses are asked to evacuate the area due to the instability of the terrain.
Blas Sánchez, geologist of CNE, said the landslide might be a result of the saturation of the soil and the amount of debris and garbage concentrated in the area.
Despite the extreme situation, no affected people are reported because the Municipal Emergency Committee evacuated the owners of these homes on Wednesday night.
