The National Emergency Commission (CNE) issued a yellow alert for the communities of Central Valley, Central Pacific, South Pacific, North Pacific and Huetar North.
According to the entity, the high temperatures of the morning and the humidity that comes from the maritime systems adds to the normal conditions of the rainy season, with intense activity in evening and night hours.
Citizens are asked to adopt the measures of protection and prevention necessary for heavy rains, lightning and increased river beds in rivers and streams,”
said the CNE.
