The National Power and Light Company (CNFL) reported that they are serving a total of 42 breakdowns in the Greater Metropolitan Area as a result of the cold front affecting the country.
Luis Fernando Andrés, Head of Distribution of the entity, said they are working on four major breakdowns in Coronado, Rancho Redondo and Santa Ana.
We have fallen trees on the power grid in Coronado, Chocó Street. And a collapsed post with a transformer in the ground in Santa Ana, and some major problems in Rancho Redondo,”
explained the official.
The areas most affected by the cold front are the province of Limón and the greatest impact of this phenomenon, such as heavy rains, low temperatures and gusts of wind were expected on Monday.
