Coastguard rescued two fishermen in Limón

May 14, 2018 by Staff News Writer

Officers of the National Coast Guard Service assisted two fishermen who lost their way in the waters of the Caribbean Sea.

After receiving the alert via 9-1-1, the Coast Guard Station of Limón moved the GC38-10 boat with several officers on board. They managed to find a small boat with two fishermen identified as Ricardo Johnson Love and Mohamed Amaya Campos.

The complications could be due to bad weather conditions, as it rained a lot and there was strong waves. Finally, after being found, the men were taken safely to land south of Bananito.
