Coffins in San José to raise awareness!

From March 1st to March 3rd, San José has been filled with coffins to raise awareness among drivers, pedestrians and citizens about how important is to respect road rules and thus reduce road violence.

This is part of a prevention campaign carried out by the Road Safety Council (COSEVI) and La Piedad Funeral Home.

Yesterday, coffins remained at the intersection of the traffic light of San Juan de Dios hospital (HSJD).

Today, they will be in front of the traffic lights, but at the Mail building, San José.

The campaign aims to raise awareness about the effects of listening to music with earphones or checking the phone while crossing the street.

Two men dressed in full suit mobilize a coffin from side to side. Next to the coffin, there is a person with a sign that says:

How many more deaths will be necessary to realize that there have already been too many deaths?
