The Border Police confiscated an unusual product in La Cruz, Guanacaste. A cargo of hair dye was detected at the intersection of Santa Rosa Park. The confiscated products amounted to ¢ 4 million.

The incident occurred last Saturday at a checkpoint where a local public service bus intervened. Officials checked under the floor and managed to find a compartment with hundreds of plastic containers and tubes of ninety milligrams of hair dye.

After careful and formal count, the Border Police confirmed there were 960 units of dye, with a value close to ¢ 4 million.

The product had no sanitary registration, no permission to enter the country and had not paid the corresponding taxes.

According to the Ministry of Public Security (MSP), they were able to seize the cargo thanks to various devices that remain at strategic points.
