Alfaro says that insecurity and violence increased exponentially in recent years and considers it important to adapt the rules to the national and regional situation. It’s important to note that in Mexico and other Central American countries do not cover the faces of their criminal suspects.
This project, and another one that urges to interrogate criminal suspects immediately after arrest, comes at a time when crimes against children and a high rate of murders have been occurring in the country for several months.
